Acceptable Use Policy
Roomiva · Version 2026-09-06.1 · Effective 6 September 2026
This policy says what you may and may not upload or ask for. It is part of the Terms of Service. The operator ("we") is identified in the Operator details at the end of this document.
1. What the service is for
Roomiva is for visualising design ideas for spaces: rooms, the outside of buildings, walls and gates, gardens, balconies and terraces. Upload photographs of spaces you have the right to use, and ask for design changes within them.
2. Your content: what you must have
You may upload a photo only if:
- you own it, or have permission from whoever does, to use it in this way;
- any identifiable person in it has consented to being uploaded and to designs being made from the image — keep people out of the frame where you can;
- any private property in it that is not yours is shown with the owner's or occupier's consent;
- it does not contain anything listed in §3.
The app tells you to keep people, pets, screens and documents out of the shot. That is advice for your privacy as much as anyone else's.
3. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not upload, request, or use the service to produce:
- Content you have no right to use — including photos taken from listings, brochures, other apps or other people without permission, and anything that infringes copyright, trade marks or other intellectual-property rights.
- Images of people without consent, and any image of a person that is intimate, sexual, demeaning or used to harass, intimidate or deceive.
- Content involving minors in any sexual or exploitative context.
- Illegal surveillance — photos taken by intruding on private property, or of the inside of someone's home without their consent, or otherwise obtained unlawfully.
- Abusive, hateful, violent, extremist or otherwise unlawful imagery or requests.
- Deceptive material — designs presented to others as real photographs, surveys, plans, valuations or professional advice, or used to misrepresent a property in a sale, letting or insurance claim.
- Anything that would break the law where you are or where we operate.
You must not:
- attempt to bypass or manipulate the safety systems — the content checks, the structural checks, the prompt sanitisation, or the provider's own refusals — including by writing instructions designed to change what the model is told to do;
- ask the service to do what it refuses to do: move, remove or add walls, columns, floors, roofs or openings, or otherwise change the structure of a building;
- probe, scan, overload or attack the service, its API, its storage or its providers; exceed rate limits deliberately; or use automation to generate designs at scale;
- share, sell or lend your account, use another person's account, or create accounts to evade an allowance, a suspension or a limit;
- reverse-engineer the app or the API except where the law permits it regardless of this term.
4. What we do about it
We do not review uploads before they are processed. We may remove or refuse content, cancel a job, suspend or close an account, and decline a refund of consumed allowance, where we reasonably believe this policy has been broken. Our AI provider may also refuse an image on its own safety grounds; when that happens the app tells you and nothing is charged for that design.
If a report about a result shows a breach of this policy by another user, we act on it as above. We may keep a record of the breach for as long as the Privacy Policy allows for audit events.
5. Reporting
Report a result from the design screen, or contact the support address in the Operator details.
